Splash Shield
Turbulence splash shield
Applications
Turbulence in tanks will cause false signals. A splash shield will dampen this wave action, thus averaging the liquid level. All liquid level controls can have a splash shield added to them. Standard float switches can have a splash shield added in the field without any special tools or modifications. Splash shields can be made from brass, stainless steel, or other compatible materials.

Pipe centering discs and turbulence deflection discs
Application
Centering discs are used to position a float in the middle of a pipe which eliminates the float coming in contact with the pipe wall and impairing float movement. Turbulence from boiling water or liquids moving vertically can cause false signals. The diverting of flow and bubbles allows the float to suspend naturally and provide reliable level information.
